Professional bike fit

Why you need a bike fit.

Bike fit is crucial to the comfort, performance, and overall experience of riding a bike. A proper bike fit ensures that your bike is adjusted specifically to you and your riding style, which can promote comfort and reduce the risk of injuries. Additionally, a properly fitting bike can improve power transfer and efficiency, allowing the rider to ride longer and faster with less fatigue. We have taken bike fit a step further and brought alongside local cyclist and friend Lucas Brown Doctor of Physical Therapy and professional bike fit specialist to help ensure the best fit possible.

Who is a bike fit for?

A professional bike fit is beneficial to customers of all skill levels, regardless of whether they are casual riders or competitive athletes. A bike fit ensures that the customer's bike is adjusted to their specific anatomy and riding style. Even for those who are not competing, a professional bike fit can improve the overall riding experience by increasing comfort and reducing the risk of injury. For beginners, a bike fit can help develop good habits, leading to a more enjoyable and rewarding cycling experience. Overall, a professional bike fit is a worthwhile investment for customers of all skill levels, as it can significantly enhance and prolong their cycling career.

Full Fit

In a Full Fit we will look at all of the contact points on the bike: pedals, saddle, and handlebars. We will perform a musculoskeletal screen and examine how your body interfaces with the contact points. This fit is for individuals who ride with clip in pedals.

Follow Up Visit

After the initial fit visit if there is any additional tweaking that needs to be addressed or if we need to take a deeper look into one area, we can set up a follow up visit to build off of the progress of the Full Fit visit.

Recreational Rider

Recreational Rider fit is for individuals who do not use clip in pedals. We will perform a musculoskeletal screen and assess the contact points of saddle and handle bars. We educate the rider on foot positioning to maximize comfort and efficiency.
