Week 2 Road: Plum Branch and New Chapel
We hope everyone had a great week 1 of riding. This week’s road segment takes us out to Rustburg- we know this is a bit of a drive but remember the series is about getting folks riding different roads. There are two suggested routes, long and short available to ride, both departing from the Food Lion parking lot in Rustburg. Once leaving Rustburg, the short route is all country backroads. The longer begins with using about a mile and a half of 501, with an additional mile of 501 later in the ride- both sections are fine to ride- we just wanted to give a heads-up to riders.
** There is a right-hand turn at 1.5 miles into the segment with a STOP SIGN- Please abide by all traffic laws as you would in your car. Remember this for FUN- BE SAFE!
